I just kind of get the idea from her phrasing and how she presents this job that she feels she is doing good in the world with a hint that she almost cares about these people while she obviously is driven by the money. I think she intelligent for finding this revenue stream but i believe she is protecting her own conscience and self image by manipulating her own perception of what her job is. Charging lonely people money to talk to her.You do not charge a friend to listen to them so I would not call her their friend in as much as your therapist or drug dealer are your friend.She provides a service at a fee and that should not be mistaken as charity or friendship.I feel as though she has built herself up in her own mind to believe that her service is noble in some sense and I do not believe this to be true as it is taking “advantage” of socially inept individuals social inabilities.
