Then, fold the top point down so the bandana forms a trapezoid shape. The next step is to fold the bandana in half lengthwise. Wrap the bandana around your forehead. Using satellite imaging, Sturfee’s CEO Anil Cheriyadat is able to make any city into an AR playground. He worked with AR app developer and publisher HappyGiant to create the SF virtual overlay. I think the staff recommendation, copied below, highlights the dilemma that many Landmarks Commissioners are facing. I personally don’t agree that removing a 1906 addition to a Civil War era gravesite that acknowledges the United Daughters of the Confederacy frustrates the public interest. The monument is an artifact of our racist history and a symbol of defenders of slavery and that meaning carries forward to the present day.
A real time emotion detection system based on electroencephalogram (EEG) measurement has been realised by means of an emotion detection headband coupled with printed signal acquisition electrodes and open source signal processing software (OpenViBE). Positive and negative emotions are the states classified and the Theta, Alpha, Beta and Gamma frequency bands are selected for the signal processing. It is found that, by using a combination of Power Spectral Density (PSD), Signal Power (SP) and Common Spatial Pattern (CSP) as the features, the highest subject dependent accuracy (86.83%) and independent accuracy (64.73%) is achieved, when using Linear Discrimination Analysis (LDA) as the classification algorithm.
Nick Thomas Symonds, the shadow home secretary, said: “Not only are the measures far too slow to begin 50 days after the South African strain emerged they are also dangerously inadequate.” Grant Shapps, the Transport Secretary, has signalled that hotel quarantine could be extended beyond the 33 countries that are primarily in south America and southern Africa but also include the United Arab Emirates ( a major airport hub for Africa) as well as Portugal and Cape Verde. The other countries with variants include Austria, Belgium, Canada, China, Cuba, Denmark, Faroe Islands, Finland, France, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Kenya, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, South Korea, Sweden, Taiwan, United States and Vietnam. A bidding document for the hotels also acknowledged: “Given the exceptional nature of this activity the red list countries are likely to be subject to change and suppliers should be aware that flexibility around requirements is required.”.
