The Berkeley Art Museum/Pacific Film Archive and SUPERB offer an excellent line up of films throughout the school year and there are a multitude of movie theaters throughout the area. There used to be a decent Blockbusters on Shattuck as well, which was a great resource for those who are Netflix less, but it permanently closed its doors early January. Ah, what a shame..
We have come here lots of times and we have never had a bad meal. It’s always excellent service and the food is to die for!!!! I love that i can have fine food in a comfortable and enjoyable surrounding. We recently went and had the platter of puddings for two, well I could have eaten it all to myself it was that good!!! A sample peice of each pudding to try so you never have to struggle choosing.
With the curtains closed, LTA Governor for Artistic Support Susan Boyd offered the theater’s fabric and sewing supplies to any LTA members wanting to make masks.Kit Sibley and Jean Schlichting, frequent costumers at the theater, accepted the offer and began making masks. They have made about 75 masks each, for their families, friends and neighbors. Sibley gave some to her neighbor, a nurse at Washington Hospital Center in the District, for her and her staff.
